Valdemar: TSE pursues Bolsonaro and Moraes provokes the right – 07/23/2023 – Power

The president of the PL, Valdemar Costa Neto, said in an interview with Sheet that Jair Bolsonaro is persecuted by the TSE (Superior Electoral Court) and insinuates that Alexandre de Moraes, president of the court, provokes supporters of the former president with his decisions.

Costa Neto also claims that Bolsonaro has no hope of being a candidate until 2030, but that the PL is considering resorting to international courts to regain that right.

He also assesses that it will be up to Bolsonaro to choose who will run for the right-wing presidency in 2026 and that he maintains a good relationship with the governor of São Paulo, Tarcísio de Freitas (Republicans).

Some allies say that Bolsonaro is the biggest electoral supporter in the country. Mr. does he prefer ineligible, as an electoral supporter?

He has been president of the PL for 23 years. Born in Mogi das Cruzes (SP), he holds a degree in business administration from Universidade Braz Cubas (UBC). Son of Waldemar Costa Filho, former mayor of Mogi das Cruzes, he held public office in the municipality. He was subsequently elected six times to a seat in the Chamber of Deputies.
