In Ribeirão Preto (SP), there are 26 vacancies for 11 courses. Registration is free and can be done from Tuesday (21), on the website of the University Foundation for the Entrance Exam (Fuvest). The deadline ends on December 5th. High school students who have participated in or won prizes in national or international competitions for a maximum of two years can apply. When registering, the candidate needs to choose up to three courses they wish to apply for, in order of priority. Selection for USP is based on the minimum score required, which is based on the medal obtained by the student in the registered competition. The result of the first call will be announced on February 14th. According to the university, in addition to the 200 Olympic places — intended for participants in national or international knowledge competitions –, 11,147 places are offered for 2024: 8,147 through selection through the Fuvest entrance exam 1,500 through the National High School Exam ( Enem) 1,500 through Provão Paulista Serial This Sunday (19th) the first phase of Fuvest takes place across the country, with general knowledge questions.
