Manaus (AM) – Centro Universitário Fametro and Faculdade Santa Teresa are offering free courses during the holidays in various areas of knowledge, an opportunity in new fields of training or deepening in those of current interest to the student. Classes start in December and continue in January and February, with options in management, health, psychology and law.

“With these courses we also offer the opportunity to refine your CV, in addition to expanding possibilities for work in the professional market”,

highlights the coordinator of the Free Courses Department at FST, Joziane Mendes.

The free courses begin with the “Career Transition” workshop, led by administrator and Communication and Career specialist Joziane Mendes, on December 30th. Aimed at academics and professionals from the most varied activities, it seeks to prepare them to move into the professional field with better planning, security and assertiveness, reflecting on myths, inappropriate choices, and identifying the moment for change, as well as learning how to execute it.

In the Legal area, the “First Steps in Litigation Advocacy” workshop, in online mode, will be mediated by lawyer and master in Legal Sciences Afrânio Azevedo. It will address subjects such as: analysis of legal risks, survey of legal theses, technique for producing initial petitions and challenges, procedural strategies and work in the courts.

In the area of ​​Health, the “Public Health in Brazil” workshop stands out, which aims to discuss the challenges, successful strategies and trends in the segment. It is aimed at health academics and those interested in the topic and will be mediated by physiotherapist and specialist in Neurofunctional Rehabilitation, Paulo Henrique Rocha.

For academics and Psychology professionals, the options are the workshop “Master the Art of Hypnosis”, mediated by the certified specialist in Hypnosis and Neurolinguistics, Aderson Venâncio, and the workshop “Adolescence: neither child nor adult. There are too many emotions and not enough words”, led by clinical psychologist and specialist in Mental Health, Juliana Coutinho.

The first aims to provide an understanding of the fundamental principles of hypnosis and how to have a more refined look at the behavior of others, in addition to communication techniques. The second aims to discuss concepts, characteristics of adolescence, importance of parents and/or guardians in the therapeutic process, contract and anamnesis, initial and feedback interview, limits of confidentiality in the therapeutic process and the use of technical and mediating instruments.

All free courses focus on practice, through the use of management tools, self-diagnosis tests, production of legal documents, simulation of real situations, case analysis, dynamics and laboratory practices.

“The Free Courses Department aims to fill any learning deficiencies in the professional qualification trajectory or gaps left in traditional training”, explains the coordinator.

Other courses available are “Peripheral Venipuncture with Scalp”, “Injectable Medication Administration”, “Oral Defense Techniques” and “TCC grade 10”.
