Trem is leader of Amapazão after beating São Paulo – News of Brazil

Trem beat São Paulo 3-1, last Thursday, at Zerão. With the victory, Locomotiva took the lead in the championship, with 15 points. Trem now guarantees a place in the state semi-finals.

Opening the scoring, Pedro Foguete scored the first goal at the end of the first half, for Trem. At the end of the opening 45 minutes, Neto Oliveira scored the second point of the match, in favor of Rubro-Negro. The third ball in the net came in the 27th minute of the second half: Foguete scored his second in the game and fifth in the competition, becoming the isolated top scorer.

São Paulo also scored one, with Bobô, in the final stoppage time, and with the defeat to Trem, they were the first club relegated to the second division of the Amapaense Championship. In six games, Tricolor from the North Zone managed just one point.

With the victory, Locomotiva remains isolated in the lead, with 15 points. Independente occupies second place, with 13 points, followed by Oratório with 10 and Ypiranga, 7.
