This Tuesday (30), the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) drew the matches for the first phase of the Copa do Brasil, which is scheduled to begin on February 21. The teams that will represent Amapá in the competition will play at home, at the Milton de Souza Correa Stadium, Zerão.

The first draw was Independente, which will face Amazonas, in group 18. Trem Desportivo Clube, will play against Sport, from Recife, in group 23. The visiting teams have the advantage of a draw. Game dates have not yet been defined.

During the draw, the field teams for the second phase of the competition were defined. In group 23, if Trem Desportivo Clube wins, they will be the home team and will play against the winner of the game between Murici-AL and Confiança-CE. Carcará da Vila Maia, if they win, will not have control of the field in their favor and will play against the winner of the match between Maringá-PR and América-MG.

The event will bring together 80 clubs in the first phase. In total, 92 clubs participate in the competition, with 12, previously classified, entering the competition in the third phase. In this initial phase of the Copa do Brasil, the duels will be played in a single game, with the team in lower position in the Ranking being in charge.
