The Beer Train, a train ride promoted by the Curitiba brewery Bodebrown, takes place for the first time in São Paulo, on April 29th. The journey will take place on the Ytuana Railroad, aboard the Republican Train, between Itu and Salto. During the trip, five beers will be served to passengers, paired with cheeses and breads. Live music and a chat about the beers presented are also part of the itinerary.

According to the schedule, after check-in at 9:00 am, the train leaves Itu at 10:00 am, heading to Salto, where there is a break for lunch, returning to Itu at 3:00 pm. Beers, cheeses and breads served on the trip are included in the value of the train ride; a kit with a Beer Train themed mug and passport, as well as lunch at the Stazione restaurant, in Salto. The meal includes a typical dish of the region – Fillet à Parmegiana, accompanied by rice and french fries.

In its debut in São Paulo, the event is organized by Bodebrown in partnership with Serra Verde Express and the Donnerstag brewery. In Paraná, the Beer Train has been running since 2012, connecting Curitiba to Morretes, on the coast of the state.
