Trem debuted with the right foot in the Brazilian Serie D Football Championship. Locomotiva won 1×0 against Tuna Luso (PA) on Saturday (06), at Estádio Zerão and secured its first three points in the competition and the leadership, until then from group A1. The goal was scored by striker Leandro Cearense.
During the first half of the game, the teams were balanced and created few goal opportunities. Still in the first half, Trem managed to create a beautiful move, with chances to open the scoring, but the Cruzmaltino goalkeeper was attentive in the move.
In the second half, Trem dominated the match, especially after the expulsion of Pedrinho, from Tuna. Locomotiva created good opportunities with Leandro Cearense, but struggled to score. The visitors had chances to open the scoring, but they couldn’t either. In the final minutes of the game, Cearense managed to swing the nets in a penalty kick, decreeing the victory of the team from Amapa.
