Total higher education courses with satisfactory evaluation are 26% in distance learning and 38% in the face-to-face model, says MEC

Index evaluates the quality of higher education in the country and gives grades from 1 to 5 for courses. In 2022, 26 bachelor’s and technological courses were evaluated, mainly in social and human sciences, and management. Enrollments x CPC In the courses evaluated in 2022, the number of enrollments for distance learning and in-person modalities had little difference, in a division of 49% and 51% respectively. What draws attention, however, is the difference in enrollment by course range. Of the more than 1.4 million students enrolled in distance learning courses in 2022, only 11.3% were registered in grade 4 or 5 courses. Compared to face-to-face teaching also in 2022, of the more than 1.5 million enrolled in modality, 42.3% were in grade 4 and 5 courses.
