TJAP delivers another 153 sports equipment to Instituto Jari no Tatame – News of Brazil

The State Coordination of Children and Youth of the Court of Justice of Amapá (CEIJ/TJAP), under the management of judge Gilberto Pinheiro, carried out, on the morning of this Thursday (26), at the Palace of Justice, the delivery of 153 units of sports materials for the Martial Arts and Social Assistance Project, from the Jari no Tatame Institute. The coordination was, at the time, represented by employees Ladilson Moita and Ana Beatriz.
The delivery distributed: 36 mats; 16 muay thai gloves; 50 bandages; 04 kick trimmers; 04 punch trimmer handles; 04 chest protectors; 05 muay thai shin guards; 02 timers; 02 punching bags; and 30 coquillas. The investment totaled around R$17,650.00 in resources from the Children and Youth Courts Support Fund (Fajij) and will benefit more than 214 children and adolescents. The donation is a complement to the donation received the previous week, when the Institute received 36 mats and 100 mouthguards
The person who received the materials on behalf of Instituto Jari no Tatame was martial arts athlete and project teacher Jhonatan Brandão, black belt in jiu-jitsu and wrestling, who was very grateful for the support and believes that it is essential to occupy quality time children and teenagers in the project.

The specialized unit’s priority is child and youth care policies, based on Resolution No. 94, of October 27, 2009, of the National Council of Justice (CNJ); and State Complementary Law No. 077/2012, of October 26, 2012. CEIJ/TJAP has around 35 social projects, with the highest percentage in the areas of sports, where it currently assists around 350 children and adolescents in four projects in effective execution.
By the end of 2023, there will be approximately 1000 (thousand) services, through other ongoing projects and also with the integration of inclusive actions for disabled people and those on the autism spectrum in the various Paralympic sports initiatives already aligned with the University Federal District of Amapá and the São Lázaro State School.
