Municipal Secretary of International Relations and considered to be vice-president on the ticket of Mayor Ricardo Nunes (MDB), Aldo Rebelo chose to join the MDB. The PDT, the party he has been linked to in recent years, will support Guilherme Boulos (PSOL).
Rebelo needed to choose a party by this Friday (5), the deadline for the party window. As the Panel showed, the former minister expressed resistance to the PL, which claims the right to have one of its members as vice president, given that it is the largest party and has former president Jair Bolsonaro in its ranks.
