The parliamentarian informed that the Public Hearing will generate legal referrals, a report to the Ministry of Mines and Energy and questions to the regulatory agency of the country’s electricity sector, as well as going beyond the tariff, such as questioning the application of fines and collection of liabilities without measurement. and expertise. In addition, the meeting will address the tariff collection model adopted in the country, which penalizes surplus states in energy production, such as Amapá, Pará and Tocantins.
“There is a clamor from the entire population of Amapá, and this clamor has to be answered by the Amapa parliamentary group, in Brasília, councilors, state deputies and public ministries, among other entities with prerogatives to act to resolve the situation”, called out Malafaia.
