The ‘Transforming Educator’ Award continues with registrations open until February 5th

Registration for the 2nd edition of the award that recognizes transformative educational projects closes in February

The Transforming Educator Award, a joint initiative by Sebrae, Bett Brasil and Instituto Significare, continues with registrations open until February 5, 2024. The national winners of each of the seven award categories will receive a complete package to participate in the biggest event of innovation in education in Latin America. Registration is completely free and can be done on the Award website:

Teachers who teach in public or private schools can participate in the award: Early Childhood Education; Elementary Education – Initial Years (1st to 5th year); Elementary Education – Final Years (6th to 9th year); Regular High School; Technical Professional Education; College education; Youth and Adult Education (EJA).

Eligible projects must have been carried out between 2021 and 2023, by teachers linked to educational institutions, and can have different formats, such as: activities, studies, games, methodologies, courses, technologies, challenges, presentations, competitions, services, products, among others. The announcement of the winners should take place at the end of April 2024, during the 29th edition of Bett Brasil, in São Paulo.

Awards

The purpose of the award is to recognize and highlight the pedagogical projects implemented by teachers from all over Brazil, between the years 2021 and 2023. In the current edition of the award, participating projects will have the opportunity to compete in the state, regional and national stages. The winners of the seven categories from the 5 regions of Brazil will participate in Bett Brasil 2024.

“The Transforming Educator Award is a well-deserved tribute to educators, for their struggles and triumphs in education,” said Professor Wellington Cruz, president of Instituto Significare. He emphasizes that the celebration goes beyond the achievements of educational projects, being mainly a tribute to the courage of teachers. By facing challenges, they shape a better tomorrow for us all.
