The numbers of left-back Jamerson, Coritiba’s new signing

After a long soap opera, the coritiba announced, this Monday (10), the signing of left-back jamerson, 24 years. The player was at Guarani and arrives with a three-year contract, until the end of 2025. He is the 12th signing of the year. This Monday, the club also made official the arrival of striker Zé Roberto.
Coxa won competition from Santos and São Paulo to hire him and the negotiation would have revolved around R$ 4.5 million. Midfielder Régis was involved in the negotiation – he returned permanently to Bugre.
Jamerson was one of Guarani’s main players in last season’s Série B dispute: he was the leader in assists (7 passes for goals) alongside Nenê, from Vasco, in the competition.
The player arrived at Bugre on loan after wearing the shirt of Azuriz, in the Campeonato Paranaense 2022. At the end of last year, the team from the interior of São Paulo acquired 50% of the player’s economic rights for BRL 400 thousand.
The left-back is revealed by Marília and also played for Portimonense, Almeirim and Sertanense, all from Portugal, before returning to Brazilian football. He stands out for his good crossing and physical strength.
Jamerson arrives to compete with Victor Luis and will be able to play in the Copa do Brasil (Guarani did not play in the tournament) and in the Brazilian Championship this season. The athlete is Coxa’s 11th signing for 2023.
