The first 100 days also included actions to generate employment and income and increase support for the primary sector

Manaus (AM) – The Wilson Lima government (União Brasil) completed, this Monday (10), 100 days of management. During this period, actions were centered in the areas of public safety, education, employment and income generation in Amazonas.

“We are completing 100 days of government and I chose, together with my team, that we mark this day with our housing program. Today, we are launching Amazonas Meu Lar, which is a program in which we are going to deliver 22,000 housing solutions. There will be 20,000 apartments, a program that will cost more than R$ 3 billion to generate more than 50,000 direct and indirect jobs by 2026”, highlighted Governor Wilson Lima.

Still in the area of ​​housing, the Government of Amazonas resettled approximately 500 families in the Sharp and Manaus 2,000 Communities; launched the Parintins Integrated Sanitation Program (Prosai); inaugurated the Parque Residencial General Rodrigo Otávio, in addition to launching the largest housing program in the history of the state, Amazonas Meu Lar.

In health, there was an increase in clinical and intensive care beds in hospital units; the beginning of unprecedented surgeries in the state public network, such as the cochlear implant; in addition to the delivery of the revitalized Center for Comprehensive Care for the Elderly (Caimi) André Araújo, among other advances.

In education, the agreement that made the Student Free Pass possible was renewed and the 13th Full Time Education Center (Ceti) under the Wilson Lima administration was delivered in the municipality of Fonte Boa. The Government of Amazonas also launched the Escola da Floresta project; delivered the 50th robotics lab; and launched Fapeam notices worth more than R$68 million.

Security

Public safety received new two- and four-wheel vehicles, in addition to thousands of pieces of equipment. The goals of the National and State Plans for Public Security and Social Defense reached 90% and Operation Tamoiotatá 3 was launched.

One of the main banners of the new Wilson Lima government, the social area delivered more than 300,000 kilos of fish to institutions; served more than 1 million meals and soups through the Prato Cheio program; delivered more PAC Móvel units, in addition to transferring funds and incentives to social institutions and associations.

In the economy, summons, appointments and tenure of approved public tenders were carried out. The government launched the +Crédito Amazonas 2023 program, including new lines of credit; announced investments of more than R$45 million in the natural gas market; and granted tax incentives for new projects to companies in the Industrial Pole of Manaus.

primary sector

The primary sector saw the launch of the 2023/2024 Crop Plan, with resources of R$ 3.72 billion; with the beginning of the study for Ecological Economic Zoning; the launch of the Afeam Agro Program; in addition to the delivery of primary producer cards and purchase of fish, among other actions.

Infrastructure was marked by the signing of service orders for the works at Parque Gigantes da Floresta, Viaduto Rei Pelé and Complexo Viário José Fernandes; delivery of the Carlos Braga highway (AM-151); and conclusion of the reforms of Feiras do São Francisco and Quarentão.

For the environment, 35 million euros were announced for the Amazon Fund; in addition to the delivery of the Puranga Conquista RDS Management Plan; and the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding for the construction of an Amazon Bioeconomy Chamber of Commerce, among other advances.

In tourism, new international flights; the choice of Manaus among the 52 best cities to visit, according to The New York Times; the generation of 34,847 jobs; and the launching of the “Brilha Amazonas” Program were some of the initiatives of the first hundred days.

In culture, the hundred days had Carnival in the Forest; the launch of the Parintins Folk Festival, with the announcement of sponsorship of R$ 10 million to Caprichoso and Garantido; and the organization of the 3rd Festival de Circo do Amazonas.

As for sports in Amazonas, the Amazonas project was launched at the Paris Olympics and the expansion of +Pelci vacancies.
