The biggest MMA event in the Middle East, BRAVE returns to Brazil

Main MMA organization in the Middle East, the BRAVE Combat Federation returns to Brazil after a hiatus of more than four years, to organize its first event in the Northeast. BRAVE CF 78 will take place on December 7th, at Ginásio Aécio de Borba, in Fortaleza, Ceará.

In the main fight, Joiton Lutterbach from Paraíba, who also represents Germany, faces Luan ”Miau” Santiago from Bahia, former world champion of the event. In the second most important duel of the night, Edilceu ”Para-Raio” Alves faces Marciano Ferreira, an athlete from Ceará, but based in São Paulo.

In total, BRAVE CF 78, which will be organized in co-promotion with the Ceará event Victorious MMA, will feature 11 fights, five from BRAVE CF and six from Victorious MMA. Athletes from seven countries will be in action: Brazil, Germany, Panama, Guinea-Bissau, Venezuela, Argentina and Angola. This will be the first international MMA event in Fortaleza since February 2019.

Brave has strong Curitiba DNA

And the event will have a strong presence from MMA from Curitiba, despite the show being in Fortaleza. Curitiba was the venue for the first two BRAVE CF events in Brazil and will be directly represented by Luiz Cado, born and raised in the city. The member of Evolution Thai faces Panamanian Vernon Ramos on the main card. Indirectly, the aforementioned Edilceu Alves and Luan Santiago will also represent Curitiba, as they train at CM System, owned by master Cristiano Marcello, and live in the capital of Paraná.

The BRAVE Combat Federation was founded by Shaikh Khaled bin Hamad Al Khalifa, prince of the Kingdom of Bahrain, an island near Qatar and the United Arab Emirates, and today it is the organization that has traveled the most around the world – 30 countries in seven years, a record absolute in the MMA industry.
