Tarcísio de Freitas (Republicans), governor of São Paulo, will have a meeting with Ron DeSantis, governor of Florida who is in the pre-campaign to contest the election for president of the United States in 2024.
DeSantis is seen as an heir to the ideas of former President Donald Trump, with whom he disputes the support of the Republican electorate for the coming year.
According to the press office of the former Bolsonarist minister, his objective with the meeting is to “learn about Florida’s successful policies of tax substitution as an incentive for industrial investments and incubation of startups, among others”.
