The governor of São Paulo, Tarcísio de Freitas (Republicans), included a visit to a company specializing in the construction of submerged tunnels, like the one that will connect Santos and Guarujá, in the road show across Europe that he will hold next week.
The work would only be carried out by the federal government, but Lula backed down after a complaint from the governor and decided to include the state of São Paulo as a partner.
Next Wednesday (7), Tarcísio will meet in Paris (France) with representatives from Tech Tunnel, a company of Dutch origin that has already carried out works of this type in countries such as China, South Korea, Denmark, Sweden and Germany.
On the trip, the governor will visit companies specializing in infrastructure projects and banks, looking for possible interested parties in the state’s construction portfolio. In addition to the tunnel, road and railway concessions and the train to connect São Paulo to Campinas are on the list.
The itinerary begins on Monday (5) in Madrid (Spain), goes to Milan (Italy) the following day and ends in Paris, with a return to Brazil scheduled for Friday (9).
Other companies visited are the Spanish companies Acciona and Sacyr, the Italian companies Gavio and Ghella and the French company Alstom, in addition to the banks Santander and BNP Paribas.
