The Tarcísio de Freitas government (Republicanos-SP) claims that it is impossible to count the number of times that federal deputy Eduardo Bolsonaro (PL-SP) was in 2023 at the Palácio dos Bandeirantes, headquarters of the state administration.

Since the beginning of the year, the parliamentarian has been to the Palace on several occasions. Due to his constant presence, his free movement in internal spaces and his influence on management, to which he appointed several staff (among them his former adviser Sonaira Fernandes, current state secretary for Women), he is ironically called “the another governor” by members of the state administration.

On July 15, five days after another visit by Eduardo Bolsonaro to the Palace, the Panel column requested via the Access to Information Law the number of visits that the parliamentarian has made to the place since the beginning of the year, which secretariats he visited and what the agendas were. treated.

In response, the state management responded on August 17 that the authorities who have access to the Palace “only receive a colored lapel pin, in order to differentiate them from the other people who circulate in the Palace, therefore, it is not mandatory to identify or fill in any registration at the entrance”.

“Considering this free access, it is not possible to know which secretariats he visited and which agendas were dealt with. To do so, it would be necessary to carry out several surveys in different rooms and offices, causing additional work for the servers, diverting them from their normal services”, added the management state, classifying the request as “disproportionate and unreasonable”.

After an appeal in which the column requested at least the number of visits made by the former president’s son, the state administration said, this Monday (28), that the previous answer “was clear in the sense that authorities, such as deputies federal, have free access, not requiring any registration at the entrance, therefore, it is not possible to know how many visits the aforementioned Federal Deputy made to the Palácio dos Bandeirantes.”

The deputy’s most recent visit to the Palace, which was publicly disclosed, took place on July 10, when he was received by Tarcísio himself, who had been harassed by Bolsonarism after expressing support for tax reform, and by Arthur Lima, secretary of the Civil House and right-hand man. of the governor.
