The TCE-SP (São Paulo State Court of Auditors) released this Thursday (20) the proposal for the public notice to enable the privatization studies of Emae (Metropolitan Water and Energy Company).
The process of selling Emae, valued at R$2.2 billion, is seen as a test for the privatization of Sabesp, the jewel in the crown of the Tarcísio government’s privatization plan.
With the release of the invitation to bid, which had been suspended last month, the consultants who will structure the process for selling the company’s shares can now be hired.
The Secretariat for Partnerships in Investments states that the announcement will be republished shortly.
