Manaus (AM) – The student from Faculdade Santa Teresa, Caroline Stefany Marques, was approved by the Graduate Program in Psychology at the Federal University of Amazonas (Ufam), to attend the Master’s degree in the area.
Caroline Stefany, who is from the municipality of Envira, is a finalist in the Psychology course at Santa Teresa and will graduate in August this year. She emphasizes the happiness of passing the Master’s.
“For a moment, during the process, I doubted that I would succeed, mainly because I was still finishing my degree and not having so many experiences. But I dedicated myself, I had the help and support of the professors at the college and I got the opportunity to continue my academic training”,
he said.
Concluding college and passing the Master’s degree, for her, has a very important meaning. “I am the daughter of a teacher who has always encouraged me, along with my grandmother. There are no colleges in my city, so coming to Manaus alone and at a very young age was quite challenging, ”she added.
Psychology, she says, was not her first option. “I usually say that the course chose me because, when I arrived in Manaus, my goal was law school, but other opportunities arose and throughout graduation I fell in love with Psychology and I am very happy.”, he stressed.
The choice to enroll in the Master’s degree has to do with another of Caroline’s desires, that of becoming a teacher.
“During college, I was very interested in research. He was always debating the readings with his teachers and classmates. All this and with the influence of my teacher mother, I decided to pursue a Master’s degree”,
reported.
According to the coordinator of the Psychology course at FST, Juliana Coutinho, the entire faculty is very happy with the result achieved by the student. “Everyone followed her dedication to pass the selection process, parallel to the conclusion of the graduation TCC. I am sure that we trained an excellent professional who has a lot to contribute to society.”, he stressed.
