Manaus (AM) — Companies of all sizes need a great data connection, because even to issue a simple invoice, you don’t just need good internet, but a standard computer network structure.

Here comes the importance of structured cabling so that, in addition to making efforts, having new technologies and researching market trends, companies must also pay attention to the organization of their network infrastructure. In recent years, the use of applications, electronic wallets, e-commerce, social networks and websites has grown among consumers and the general population, regardless of this expansion, the quality factor in this matter is paramount.

According to data from the International Data Corporation (IDC) analyzed by the Brazilian Association of Software Companies (ABES), Brazil currently maintains 1.65% of investments in technology globally, and 36% of investments throughout Latin America (compared to 40% in the previous survey).

Considering the total global investments in information technology (software, hardware and services) during 2022 — which was US$3.11 trillion, against US$2.79 trillion —, Brazil fell two positions, now appearing in twelfth place in this investment ranking, with US$45.2 billion invested and leads in Latin America, whose total investments reached US$124 billion (compared to US$115 billion in 2021).

According to Rafael Amorim, commercial director of Grupo Pará Cabos, a company that has been operating in the segment for 25 years in Amazonas, structured cabling is a way of organizing and standardizing cables in a company to improve productivity and performance.

“The operation facilitates the organization of data (internet), voice (telephony) and image (streaming, CCTV cameras) information, ensuring better communication and efficiency on the network and, ultimately, the construction of a safe and secure digital environment. quick response”, explains the businessman.

Rafael also points out the importance of developing several projects and solutions suitable for each company.

“The importance of companies and professionals able to meet this market demand is a reality today. The lack of management and preparation when dealing with networks and hardware can cause a lot of headaches during the growth of a company, and it is important to invest in structured cabling solutions as well as projects focused on technology”,

points out the director who has worked in partnership with other integrators, companies such as: Amazonas Legislative Assembly (Aleam), Sidia, Moto Honda da Amazônia, among others.

Green IT Program

Attentive to practices to reduce pollution and encourage recycling that help mitigate environmental impacts and contribute to the socially responsible management of companies, the Pará Cabos group participates in partnership with Furukawa Electric, a Japanese manufacturer of products and accessories aimed at the segment, the Green IT program.

In 2023 alone, the program recycled approximately 5 tons of outdated and disused network cables.

“It is a program that adds a lot to our company, as it guarantees the correct disposal of used cabling materials. It is a way of putting ourselves into action and fulfilling our role in accordance with the sustainable development goals (SDGs) in light of the 5 p’s of the UN 2030 agenda”,
