Street race: 2nd Minimarathon City of Santana will have Top 10 as a new feature – News of Brazil
The event commemorates the 36th anniversary of the creation of the city of Santana
As part of the “Viva Santana” program celebrating the 36th anniversary of the creation of the municipality, the 2nd edition of the Minimaratona Cidade de Santana brings something new this year.
In the 13 km race, there will be a Top 10, in which the first ten placed will be awarded medals, trophies and a sum of money. In total, 1,600 places will be available. Furthermore, the 5 km race is confirmed.
The Minimarathon is scheduled for December 1st, starting at 6 am. Participants who confirm their presence must donate two toys when receiving the race kit.
Registration took place this Monday, the 13th. According to Biraga Rocha, Secretary of Sports and Leisure of Santana, all precautions are being taken in organizing the race. The start and finish will be at Praça do Fórum, in the Vila Amazonas neighborhood.
