The Federal Supreme Court (STF) launched a collection of “democratic” stickers to be used in conversations via WhatsApp. The stickers were released by the Court, on Friday (19), on the channel maintained by the Court on the social network, which has more than 15.3 thousand followers.

Initially, 6 stickers were released which, according to the STF, can be sent in conversations or in family groups.

“They arrived. The missing stickers for you to use in any conversation, command that family group and talk about the Constitution whenever you need to”, says the Supreme Court statement.

In one of them, the Court used a drawing of two students holding the Federal Constitution with the following phrase: “Defending the Constitution – Too delicious”. In another, the STF used a “surprise emoji” with the following inscription: “Stop! In the name of the Constitution.”

The STF channel on WhatsApp was created in November last year in an attempt to “bring the Court closer to society”.

According to a statement from the Court, “the Supreme Court’s channel offers citizens important content produced based on the Court’s decisions and initiatives that directly impact people’s lives.”

Another objective of the channel, created following a decision by the President of the Court, Minister Luís Roberto Barroso, is to “promote a virtual environment free from fake news and disinformation”.
