The Government of Amapá maintains discussions with civil servants to deal with salary adjustments. Having transparency as the basis of dialogue, this Tuesday, 11, Governor Clécio Luís received union representatives at the Palácio do Setentrião.
Last Wednesday, the 5th, the Permanent Committee for the Valorization of Public Servants announced the linear readjustment of 5.6% of the base date for civil servants. The proposal still needs to go through the Legislative Assembly of Amapá (Alap).
The value was based on the February IPCA. The linear percentage granted is the maximum possible for the State to remain within the limits established by the Fiscal Responsibility Law (LRF).
At this Tuesday’s meeting, which brought together health, military and socio-educational representatives, the governor highlighted Amapá’s financial condition as one of the difficulties for a greater readjustment.
“We need to increase revenue. For now our financial condition is still difficult. We want to dialogue and find ways out, progress in the negotiation, but we cannot decide something that ends up paying in installments and delaying wages”, highlighted Clécio Luís.
The increase includes more than 22,000 active and inactive employees and will make the payroll generate R$ 176 million per month. The value is based on the Extended Consumer Price Index (IPCA) for the month of February, which should be around 5.36% in March, that is, below the value of the readjustment.
The Committee will continue to meet with the unions to dialogue and advance on the specific agendas of the categories. The secretary of Administration, Paulo Lemos, and state deputies Alliny Serrão, president of Alap; Pastor Oliveira, government leader in Alap; Jory Oeiras; and Aldilene Souza.
