Soccer school at Conjunto Mestre Oscar receives sports materials – News of Brazil

The dream of dozens of children and teenagers to become professional athletes was reinforced this week, after the Secretary of State for Sports and Leisure (Sedel) deliver sporting goods to the soccer school at the Oscar Santos Housing Complex, in the North Zone of Macapá.
“We have a special affection for little schools like the one at Conjunto Oscar Santos which, even with difficulties, continues to bring sports to these kids and take them off the streets. Our goal is to serve more social projects like this one that are spread throughout Amapá”concluded the holder of Sedel, Rudney Cunha.
Among the materials are: sets of vests, 10 pairs of soccer shoes and balls for the social project. The material will help athletes perform during training and competitions.
“These materials are extremely important for our social project. We rely on the support of parents or even take it out of our pockets to buy a ball or a boot, so this support came at a good time. They will help not only in training, but also in the performance of the championships that we will participate in”said Adriano Barbosa, responsible for the Oscar Santos Football School.
The brothers Jonathan It is Luciano Silva, 11 and 13 years old, respectively, stand out in the project and received new cleats to keep their dream of becoming soccer players alive.
“I haven’t seen a new boot in a while. It will help me a lot”he said LucianoSilva.
“I’m happy to have won the boot, mine was already old”completed the brother.
This was the first delivery of sports material in the year made by State government. The initiative will serve more schools and social projects throughout Amapá, which teach different modalities.
