Skate street: Brazilians advance to the semi of the Pro Tour of Rome – News of Brazil

This Friday (23), Brazil took on Rayssa Leal, Gabriela Mazetto and Pâmela Rosa in the women’s semifinals of the Pro Skate Street Tour in Rome (Italy). The competition counts points in the world ranking for the 2024 Paris Olympics, and will also define participants in the Pan American Games in Santiago (Chile) from October 20th. The best on the list (one spot for women and another for men) will represent Brazil at the Pan.
The Brazilians return to the track at 10:55 am (Brasília time) this Saturday (24) for a place in the final. The best eight will fight for the title at 2:25 pm on Sunday (25).
Current world champion and leader of the Federal International Skate (World Skate) ranking, Maranhão’s Rayssa Leal ranked first with a score of 70.43. Gabi Mazetto (55.51) and Pâmela (48.15) advanced, respectively, in 7th and 11th positions. The three skaters performed two rounds in the quarterfinals and advanced with a better performance in the second round.
In addition to the classified Brazilians, another 13 athletes will compete in the semifinals. Among them, the Japanese Akama Liz (67.31) in second place and the Australian Chloe Covell (65.42) in third.
Brazil also had Kemily Suiara (32.55), who ended her participation in the Pro Tour in 22nd place.
