Sesc AM Folk Festival promotes dances, concerts and creative economy for four days

Manaus (AM) – In the month of folklore, Sesc Amazonas enters the spirit of popular festivities to hold the 1st Folk Festival. The event, open to the public and with free admission, will take place from the 10th to the 13th of August, from 4 pm to 10 pm, at the Sesc Balneário unit, located at Avenida Constantinopla, n°288, Alvorada, in the Midwest Zone of Manaus.
According to Sesc’s Educational Programs Division Manager, Andreza Litaiff, the festival is inspired by major national events, seeking to present the public with diversified attractions from the North Region and providing culture, leisure, good cuisine.
“Sesc explores the Amazonian identity rich in culture, with artistic elements, folkloric dances, concerts, music and creative economy, connecting our culture with the festive period”,
explains.
In addition to the artistic attractions, the public will be able to enjoy a gastronomic space, with regional foods, and instagrammable spaces.
