Manaus (AM) – The Mostra de Cineastas Amazonenses presents this Saturday (05) the series “Cia Sai Manoa”, a comedy with seven episodes, inspired by the American production “CSI”. With free classification, the exhibition takes place at Cineteatro Guarany, located in Villa Ninita, attached to the Rio Negro Palace, at Avenida Sete de Setembro, 1546.
Filmed in 2011, in the Manoa neighborhood, north of Manaus, the series was created by friends Timóteo Comapa and Everton Andrade, who, together with instructors and producers of short films from Amazonas, tell the adventures of a group of confused investigators who solve crimes more brutal in a fun way.
After twelve years, the schedule marks the reunion of the cast, which celebrates the success of the work that inspired new filmmakers, actors and producers in Manaus. In addition to the cast, the event brings together the technical team and residents of the neighborhood, who were directly involved in the production.
According to Everton Andrade, the exhibition is an opportunity for the new generation to get to know this incredible Baré miniseries. “The event will have a nostalgic atmosphere, both for spectators and for those who participated in the series. The period was remarkable for those who love Amazonian cinema”,
tells the co-creator and producer of the series.
The Show of Amazonian Filmmakers is part of the Cineclube de Arte, held by the Government of Amazonas, through the Secretariat of Culture and Creative Economy. In order to highlight works by audiovisual producers from the State, the project welcomes the public free of charge, on Saturdays, at Cineteatro Guarany.
