Trem Desportivo Clube had a lot to celebrate this Sunday (18), as it won again after seven matches played for the Campeonato Brasileiro Série D. Locomotiva’s only victory had been in its debut in the competition, against Tuna Luso (PA). The representative of Amapá in the fourth division beat São Raimundo (AC) by 4×1, indoors.
With the result, despite being in second place, Locomotiva conquers eight points in the table and can still dream of qualifying for the next phase of the competition. São Francisco (AC), which went to the bottom of group 1, is already starting to get complicated with its six points.
Playing at home, Locomotiva wanted the victory and in the 18th minute of the first half, Zé Arthur scored the first goal of the match with a header. São Francisco tied at 21 minutes, with Geovani. Leandro Cearense extends the scoring for Trem, after a penalty kick.
In the second half, Trem took the opportunity to increase the score with Silvio, in the 30th minute, and four minutes later, Erick Mendes scored Locomotiva’s fourth goal and gave the final numbers of the match.
The teams return to the field this weekend to play the tenth round of the competition. On Saturday (24) São Francisco (AC) will play against Humaitá, at 6 pm, at Estádio Florestao. Trem, on the other hand, faces Princesa de Solimões (AM) on Sunday (25), at 5 pm, at the Gilberto Maestrinho Stadium.
