Serasa gives assistance of R$100 to those who pay basic bills

Debt settlement

Benefit is paid to consumers who make agreements signed via Pix and negotiated on the Serasa App between March 18th and 24th

To help Brazilians with basic bill debts — water, electricity, gas — or debts with so-called telcos — cell phone or landline and internet bills —, Serasa will provide assistance of R$ 100. The incentive is being offered, since this Monday (18), for the first 5 thousand consumers who settle debts that, combined, are R$200 or more. The benefit will be granted to anyone who pays via Pix through the Serasa app.

The initiative is part of MegaFeirão Serasa, a national effort formed to combat default in the country. With more than 700 partner companies, including banks, finance companies, retailers, telephone operators and securitizers, the emergency fair offers facilities for debt settlement, with water and energy concessionaires also participating to facilitate the settlement of basic bills. In total, more than 550 million offers are available, in addition to discounts of up to 96% offered by the Desenrola Brasil Program.

Of the total outstanding debts of Brazilian families, 23.09% refer to basic bills. It is the second segment with the most defaulting consumers, behind only banks and credit cards.

How to receive R$100

The benefit of R$100 will be deposited in the Serasa Digital Wallet by April 30, provided payment of the debt(s) is proven. Agreements can be made in cash or in installments, as long as they are carried out via Pix and exclusively through the Serasa app. The aid is valid for negotiations made between March 18th and 24th for the first 5 thousand consumers.

Trade

To take advantage of the offers until the end of March, consumers across the country can consult the company’s official channels and negotiate discounts from MegaFeirão Serasa and Desenrola online: website: App Serasa on Google Play and App Store and WhatsApp 11 99575– 2096.

In addition, it is also possible to regularize your pending issues at Brazilian Post offices.
