The Senate is expected to make a concerted effort, next week, to scrutinize the authorities appointed to the National Council of Justice (CNJ) and the National Council of the Public Ministry ( CNMP), in addition to voting on nominations in committees and in the plenary. According to the president of the Constitution and Justice Commission (CCJ), senator Davi Alcolumbre (União-AP), the determination for the concentrated effort comes from the president of the House, senator Rodrigo Pacheco.
This Wednesday, the 22nd, the reports of ten nominations were read at the CCJ: eight for CNJ and two for CNMP.
David granted automatic collective review of the documents and announced the investigation of all authorities next week.
