Ministers must present actions programmed by their respective ministries for the next two years. Invitation does not require attendance at the Regional Development Commission. The Minister of Planning, Simone Tebet Ton Molina/Fotoarena/Estadão Content The Regional Development and Tourism Commission of the Senate approved this Tuesday (14) invitations for ministers to present goals set by their respective portfolios for the next two years. Unlike the summons, the invitation does not require the attendance of the authorities. However, the heads of portfolios usually articulate with the members of the legislature a date to participate in the hearing and, in this way, avoid the summons, which is considered a political attrition. The commission approved six requests authored by the president, senator Marcelo Castro (MDB-PI), to invite the ministers: Renan Filho, from Transport; Márcio França, from Ports and Airports; Simone Tebet, from Planning and Budget; Waldez Góes, from Integration and Regional Development; Jader Filho, from Cities; Daniela Carneiro, from Tourism. According to the approved documents, the ministers must attend the collegiate, “in order to provide information about the actions of the Ministry for the next two years”. “We are inviting ministers from different areas concerning our commission to come to the commission to present the development plans that it has for the country so that we can accompany and contribute with what is within our reach”, stated Castro.
