[ad_1]
The governor of São Paulo, Tarcísio de Freitas (Republicans), managed to fulfill, in 2023, 12% of all the promises made during the 2022 electoral campaign. Of the 124 proposals cataloged by Sheet44% are ongoing, 19% are stopped and 26% are at a slow pace.
Tarcísio fulfilled 1 commitment every 30 days of his mandate — slower than the ideal, 12 days, to fulfill all the initiatives announced in the last election until the end of his mandate, in 2026.
In absolute terms, there were 15 completed proposals, 54 in progress, 32 slow and 23 stopped in this first year of office.
Some proposals put forward were the privatization of Sabesp (Companhia de Saneamento Básico do Estado de São Paulo), authorized by the Legislative Assembly, and the transfer of the government headquarters to the center of the capital. For example, the removal of mandatory vaccinations for children and public employees is on hold.
