Anderson Daronco from Rio Grande do Sul and Braulio da Silva Machado from Santa Catarina will be the referees of the Brazilian Cup finals, between Flamengo and São Paulo. The announcement was made, this Wednesday (6), by the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF).
Daronco will command the first duel between Mengão and Tricolor, in Maracanã, on the 17th. He will be assisted by Guilherme Dias Camilo (MG) and Nailton Junior de Sousa Oliveira (CE). The fourth referee will be Savio Pereira Sampaio (DF).
Braulio will be the referee for the second game, at Morumbi, on the 24th, and will have Bruno Raphael Pires (GO) and Bruno Boschilia (PR) as assistants. Paulo Cesar Zanovelli da Silva (MG) will be the fourth referee.
São Paulo is fighting to win the first title of the Copa do Brasil, while Flamengo is looking for the fifth cup of the national tournament, having already been champion in 1990, 2006, 2013 and 2022.
With six achievements (1993, 1996, 2000, 2003, 2017 and 2018), Cruzeiro is the biggest winner of the Copa do Brasil, followed by Grêmio, who celebrated five times (1989, 1994, 1997, 2001 and 2016).
