Valentim, a professor and former national secretary for the Creative Economy in the Jair Bolsonaro (PL) government, received 70% of the councilors’ votes this Wednesday, when, for the first time in the body’s history, everyone participated in an FPA vote.
According to the column’s account, Marton said the fact that his nominee came last on the list of eight new or reappointed directors was further evidence of the board’s lack of openness to diversity.
On Tuesday (13), when commenting on the veto at the May meeting, the secretary told the Panel that the councilors had a prejudiced attitude towards Josias, that they are only tolerant of what they want to hear and that the council would have acted better if it were multiple. She also stated that she did not give up on putting him in the FPA.
In addition to Valentim, André Lahoz Mendonça e Barros, Eugênio Bucci, Eunice Aparecida de Jesus Prudente and Lígia Cortez became advisors to the FPA. Gaudêncio Torquato, José Renato Nalini and Renata Tupinambá were reappointed.
