This Friday (02), activities will begin in celebration of “Amapá 80 years old”. Senator’s mandate Randolph Rodrigues, together with the Governor of the State of Amapá, Clecio Luis, and the President of the Post Office, Fabiano Silva dos Santos, will launch the Institutional seal and the commemorative stamp alluding to the 80 years of creation of Amapá.
The Brazilian Postal and Telegraph Company (ECT) perform the rite of seal obliteration “Amapá 80 years old”, which consists of stamping the seal, making it officially released. The art of the stamp was developed by the plastic artist from Amapá, design, illustrator and art director, Ralfe Braga, whose talent is recognized internationally. The artist’s works are also on display inside the Market Central de Macapá.
“Last March, we negotiated with the president of the Post Office, then I met with the secretary of culture, Clícia di Micelli and the artist Ralfe Braga, to discuss the artwork for the stamp and shortly afterwards it was ready. It is the first time that the State has its own seal. A significant moment in our history.”said the senator who is also a historian.
The activity will be the first in a series of commemorations for the 80th anniversary of the creation of the former Territory of Amapá. For the second semester, an intermunicipal football championship and the Green Seal Fair are planned.
