São Caetano City Hall launches local version of PAC – 03/31/2023 – Panel

The mayor of São Caetano, in Greater São Paulo, José Auricchio Junior (PSDB), will launch next Wednesday (5) a kind of local equivalent of the federal PAC. Avança São Caetano foresees more than 90 interventions in the city, with an investment of more than R$ 700 million.
Works such as the construction of swimming pools, a new educational complex, a cardiology emergency room and a linear park, among others, are planned.
Ahead of one of the most developed cities in the country, Auricchio entered the PSD’s sights, chaired by the state’s secretary of government, Gilberto Kassab. Kassab has taken advantage of the toucan fragility in the state to advance on party mayors, which has already generated tension between the two parties.
