Santana City Hall (PMS) signed, last Thursday, the 5th, a technical and institutional cooperation agreement with the Amapá Commercial Board (JUCAP). This partnership aims to use an integrated system that will enable the exchange of information between institutions, streamlining the process of opening a company.

One of the main objectives of this cooperation is to reduce bureaucracy, especially in the process of opening new ventures in the municipality, which is one of the main complaints of businesspeople. To use the integrated information system, the municipal departments of Environment, Urban Development and Housing (SEMDUH), Finance (SEMFAZ) and Social Development (SEMDES) will be involved.

“We signed this cooperation agreement to reduce bureaucracy in the business opening process and facilitate joint access to information between City Hall and JUCAP. This is an incentive for both entrepreneurs and business owners”declared Mayor Bala Rocha.

Alberto Alcolumbre, president of JUCAP, considers this partnership important, as it strengthens relationships and contributes to strengthening the municipality’s economy, generating resources.

“From now on, entrepreneurs will have greater ease in accessing information and in the process of opening a business. The bodies involved will be able to access essential documents, licenses and reports to speed up the procedure. This represents progress, and we hope that other municipalities will soon follow Santana’s example”he stated.

The secretary of SEMFAZ, Joel Rodrigues, highlighted that closer institutional relations will make procedures more agile.

“With this cooperation, we integrate the bases between the powers (City Hall and JUCAP) to help businesspeople access processes and information more quickly and efficiently. This is a great step forward for the municipality of Santana”, concluded Joel.
