Federal deputy Rosângela Moro (União-SP) will be the rapporteur of the bill that establishes the National Active Search Policy for children and adolescents of age for basic education, but who do not attend the education system.
The project was presented in 2021 by then deputy Professor Dorinha (União-TO), currently a senator.
According to the author of the project, there are around 3 million children and young people between the ages of 4 and 17 out of school. The project establishes guidelines for states and municipalities to set criteria for implementing the active search, with follow-up by professionals in the areas of education, health and social assistance.
