Neymar did not miss a publication by presenter Rodrigo Faro, who showed on social networks the newly opened artificial lake in his home on a farm. In a comment on the presenter’s post, the athlete wrote that he felt wronged.

This week, Neymar’s mansion, in Mangaratiba, in Rio de Janeiro, was once again interdicted. The Justice authorized a request from the Public Prosecutor’s Office of the municipality of Rio de Janeiro through the 6th Chamber of Public Law of the State. The house, especially the artificial lake built at the request of the athlete, had been released on June 30th, through an injunction obtained by the player’s father.

All work involving the structure of the lake had been banned on June 22 by the Environment Secretariat and the National Association of Municipal Environmental Agencies (Anamma). According to the authorities, all structural modifications were not authorized to take place. Neymar was fined R$ 16 million, but managed to obtain an authorization to use the venue. He’s been there for the past few months as he’s been recovering from an ankle injury.

Mangaratiba City Hall is still analyzing the appeals presented by the player regarding the administrative process. According to Lidia Maria Sodré de Moraes, the judge who determined the new ban, it should only be done on the lake and its surroundings, leaving the rest of the property in the Aero Rural condominium free for use.

“An urgent appeal is granted, in order to determine the maintenance of the interdiction of the works only in relation to the lake/swimming pool, that is, part of the property, and the administrative act should not cause embarrassment and damage to the enjoyment of other areas of the property. Get in touch urgently”

explained the judge, in a report made by the G1 portal.

The R$ 16 million that Neymar has to do with Justice refers to four infractions. Are they:

• Carrying out work subject to environmental control without authorization: BRL 10 million
• Land movement without authorization: BRL 5 million
• Failure to comply with an imposed embargo (the player dived into the lake after being banned): BRL 1 million
• Removal of vegetation without authorization: BRL 10,000

The 46-page report contains other infractions that were verified on the player’s property, such as watercourse diversion, unauthorized river water collection, water collection for an artificial lake, earthworks, excavation, movement of stones and rocks without authorization and use of beach sand without environmental authorization.
