At the beginning of the month, businessman Luiz Calainho made the announcement on his social networks, and also said that the new Blue Note Rio will operate on Avenida Atlântica, close to the Copacabana Palace and with a view of the sea. The place that will house the new Blue Note Reproduction The place is under construction, to gain the same look as the New York headquarters, and is scheduled to open on October 5th with Christian Scott, American jazz trumpeter and multi-instrumentalist. The month will also have MPB4, Danilo Caymmi, Jonathan Ferr, Banda do Síndico, among others. The house has concerts planned until the end of the year and performances by Hamilton de Holanda, Marieme, Marcos Valle, Mark Lambert are already guaranteed. In addition to Rio, Blue Note has branches in São Paulo, Milan, Beijing, Shanghai, Napa and Hawaii.
