The Purana.Co restaurant, dedicated to serving foods without animal origin, launched a coffee menu that mixes espresso with vegan ingredients and herbs grown on the establishment’s own terrace, located in the Pinheiros neighborhood, in the west of São Paulo.

The new menu was created in partnership with chef Camila Botelho after her trip to Vietnam, where she came into contact with creative coffee-based drinks.

Among the new products is Avatar Coconut Coffee, which contains blue spirulina (a type of algae with a bluish pigmentation, which gives the drink an indigo tone), coconut milk and vanilla from the cerrado, with the rim of the cup finished with dulce de leche. chestnut and grated coconut.

Sweet Love has a base of strawberry, white chocolate and a coconut milk whipped cream and burrito – an herb with a flavor similar to mint that is grown in the garden on the terrace.

Avocado Cream Coffee includes, in addition to the fruit that gives the drink its name, white brigadeiro, coconut whipped cream and aniseed basil, also planted on site.

All coffees are prepared with organic beans from Unique. For those who prefer traditional drinks, the house maintains a menu of classics, such as espresso and cappuccino – here, made with vegetable oat milk.

To eat, the “pãozinho do amor” is a vegan version of cheese bread and comes with cashew nut cream cheese, with acidity and lightness that you don’t find in similar products of animal origin.

There are also meal options, such as gluten-free pasta, risotto and even vegan feijoada on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

The location where the restaurant is located has a wellness complex with spaces for meditation, massage and sound and aroma therapies, as well as a natural products store.
