Real Madrid beats Al Ahly and goes to the final of the World Cup – 02/08/2023 – Sports

It was with difficulty that Real Madrid overcame Egypt’s Al Ahly and qualified for the Club World Cup final. The score of 4-1, defined with two goals in stoppage time at the Príncipe Moulay Abdellah stadium, in Rabat, is not a good picture of the problems faced by the favorites.

At the final whistle, however, the Spanish team had fulfilled its role. Only in the final minutes, with the opponent open, did Real Madrid establish the rout. Modric missed the penalty before, in extra time, Rodrygo and Arribas set the score in Morocco.

Defeated, Al Ahly will play again on Saturday, also at the Príncipe Moulay Abdellah stadium. In the preliminary decision, at 12:30 pm, he will face Flamengo, who tries to minimize his failure by seeking third place.
