The leader of the government in Congress, Senator Randolfe Rodrigues (No party-AP), said this Tuesday (6) that he expects that the nomination of lawyer Cristiano Zanin for the position of Minister of the Federal Supreme Court (STF) will be voted on on the Senate floor until June 21.

Randolfe said he expected an agreement to be reached so that the vote on Zanin’s nomination in the Constitution and Justice Commission (CCJ) could be done quickly, in order to make voting in the plenary possible until the 21st, as reported by Agência Senado. According to the senator, Zanin has already been in contact with the senators to introduce himself.

Randolfe also informed that President Lula’s meeting with leaders of the Chamber of Deputies, initially scheduled for Monday (5), should take place next week. The senator denied that the government is discussing a ministerial reform for the moment.
