Jari, to initially recover its factory stopped a year ago, called for the service, that Monday, 650 of its 2,500 employees. The forecast is that the company’s industrial paraphernalia will be recomposed in two weeks and then a plan to resume pulp and paper production will be drawn up.
On social media, the senator posts: “After months of anguish, it was possible to remove Jari Florestal from the situation of judicial recovery in which it found itself”. However, randolf points out that the company has a series of responsibilities with the society of Amapa, with the society of Vale do Jari and with BNDES, the main creditor for the return of activities.
Among Jari’s responsibilities, randolf mentions that it is necessary to present the biological collection at its disposal in order to receive complementary investments for the company’s plant and also a sustainable recovery plan so that jobs can be resumed.
Randolph Rodrigues said that everything is being done so that the stoppage situation does not happen again. He thanks the president of the BNDES, Aluízio Mercadante, and to the president Squid, for taking the decision to make Jari Florestal produce again and fulfill its important role in the economy of Vale do Jari.
