An award-winning night for Senator Randolfe Rodrigues, which won three awards at the 16th edition of the Congresso em Foco Award, on Thursday (21).

Randolfe He said he was honored by the night of three great achievements, and took the moment to pay homage to the young indigenous woman from Amapá, Maria Clara Karipuna, 15 years old, who died on September 17th, after being a victim of sexual violence.
“Today I receive these three awards with a lot of love and respect for the people who put me here to fight for Amapá. I dedicate it to our traditional people, guardians of the Amazon. And I also want to pay tribute to Maria Clara Karipuna, her family, and her Karipuna people. We will continue fighting for justice and an end to violence against women and traditional peoples! Our duty is to be at the side of those in need, and reduce inequalities in our state and country”said the senator.
During his speech, the parliamentarian from Amapá also celebrated the achievements of the Congresso em Foco Award taking place on the same day that the Federal Supreme Court declared the Temporal Framework unconstitutional. “The rights of original peoples must and must be respected!”, said the senator.
