Randolfe celebrates the delivery of 138 apartments to the beneficiaries of the Casa Macapá Program – News of Brazil

The event, promoted by the Municipality of Macapá, marked the conquest of families from Macapa with the participation of the authors of the amendments, Senator Randolfe and Federal Deputy Acácio Favacho (MDB), Executive Secretary of the Ministry of Cities, Hildo Rocha, and local authorities.
Casa Macapá is the first municipal housing program in the country with parliamentary investment, and is fulfilling the dream of owning a home for hundreds of people from Macapa. Those contemplated are entitled to the value of R$ 30 thousand referring to the entrance of the property, and the rest is financed.
More than 4,000 people signed up for the program. In this first stage, 300 will be covered. randolf celebrated the achievement of the first 138 benefited families and recalled how the idea for the program came about.
“When we were presented with the idea of allocating resources to pay for housing, some people doubted it would work. But Deputy Acácio Favacho and I believe. We presented the project to the mayor of Macapá, Dr. Furlan, who was also enthusiastic. After all the necessary procedures, Casa Macapá was born. It is a pioneer in Brazil!”celebrated.
randolf allocated the resource of R$ 5 million and the deputy acacio favacho R$ 5 million for the execution of the first stage of the program. Acácio also thanked the senator for his partnership in the project.
“After we saw that it would be possible to carry out the program, we allocated the resources and at every opportune moment we demanded the release. And so it happened, the money was released and today we are here delivering new homes, giving more dignity and respect to people”he stated.
Hildo Costa, executive secretary of the Ministry of Cities, said that the model of the program will be a reference in Brazil. “Involving political agents with the necessary contribution for families to be able to afford the entry of the value of the property is new, and the Ministry of Cities supports this initiative, and will also take the model to other states”said the secretary.
A Antonia Gama she is a public servant, she is 47 years old, and her whole life she has dreamed of having her own home. She was attentive to the social networks of the Municipality of Macapá and when she saw that the registrations were open, she soon made her own. “When the result came out, my name was first on the list of recipients. I couldn’t believe it was happening! For me it was a very big surprise, I am immensely happy and grateful”, celebrated Antonia.
The beneficiaries received the keys to the apartments and can now move into the property. the senator randolf he also pointed out during the event that he will take the example of Casa Macapá to other municipalities in the state, in partnership with the Government of Amapá, and also to other states of the federation. “What is good for the people has to be taken to all regions of the country”stated Randolf.
Macapá House Program
Casa Macapá pays the down payment of the property value at R$30,000. The program can be accessed by entrepreneurs, civil servants and the general population who can prove income of up to R$4,400 (formal or informal), and who meet the criteria required to register for the program. The rest of the value of the property is financed by the beneficiaries.
Property structure
The apartments have a living room, two bedrooms, kitchen and service area. In the living area, Condomínio Nápoles has a playground, guardhouse, trash can, water supply and sewage treatment.
