MoveInfra and Rumo Logística submitted a proposal to the Ministry of Transport for incentives for renewing the railway fleet.
Aiming at reducing pollutants, one of the objectives of the Lula government, they suggest that the Secretariat of Railways evaluate the possibility of giving discounts on grants paid annually to companies that change their current locomotives, which run on diesel, for flex machines —electric or hybrid (initially).
The reckoning would be done via ANTT (National Land Transport Agency) once a year.
