Manaus (AM) – The second edition of the Amazonas Quality Program Fair will take place next week. This year’s program is vast and diverse, including lectures with national personalities, a showcase of the 56 companies competing for the Amazonas Quality Award (PQA Award) 2023 and stands from the organizations present.

The initiative is from the Federation of Industries of the State of Amazonas (Fieam), through the Department of Assistance to Medium and Small Industries (Dampi), in partnership with the Brazilian Micro and Small Business Support Service – Amazonas Section (Sebrae-AM) . The event will take place from October 17th to 20th, at Studio 5, on Avenida Rodrigo Otávio, Japiim neighborhood, South Zone of Manaus.

One of the highlights of this year’s fair is the “Management and Improvement Exhibition”, which will be held in the plenary of the space’s events hall, always between 8am and 6pm. It will be an opportunity for the public to get to know the work, projects and learning of the competitors for the PQA 2023 Award up close, as well as for companies to showcase their best quality management practices, in search of first place.

“They will have an average of 25 minutes for the exhibition. This is the moment when the teams will have their last evaluation, so that we can determine the prize winners. It is open to the public, free of charge. We ask teams to bring their fans and make themselves comfortable. Because this was an event held in an auditorium and people wanted to be more excited, but they couldn’t drink water, take balloons, or have confetti. This space is dedicated to this and companies will also be happy to cheer”,

explained the Dampi/Fieam manager and event organizer, Erlen Montefusco.

The fair with 36 exhibitors among stands are startup areas and will be open to the public in the Studio 5 pavilion, during the same period. On the 17th day, opening hours will be from 3pm to 8pm.

Now, from the 18th until the 20th, visitors will be able to check out the spaces of organizations participating in the PQA, which include companies from the Manaus Industrial Pole (PIM) and service establishments and public bodies, always between 10am and 8pm.

The program has many other presentations in store. The four days of the event also feature 12 free lectures, through “PQA Talks”, held at the PQA stand, at different times.

The main lectures will be presented between October 18th and 20th, starting at 8pm. Topics such as leadership, strategy, investments and the future of technology will be covered, with speakers Carol Paiffer, Ronaldo Lemos and Cristiano Zanetta – the “Batman of Brazil”. The passport for the three days costs R$150 and can be purchased on the Ingresso Mix website:

“The purpose of the event is to encourage closer ties between the industry and micro, small and medium-sized entrepreneurs. This, in addition to providing new business, and giving these small producers an opportunity to have contact with the sector. We also want to encourage student participation, so that they get to know everything they learn at college in reality. This way, we see how this works in the day-to-day life of a large industry”,

concluded Erlen Montefusco.

The PQA aims to provide methodologies and tools to improve the quality of PIM products and processes and, subsequently, of public and private organizations from all segments. The award, with the same acronym as its name, has been awarded since 1994.
