PT prepares left-wing neighborhood for arrival of centrão – 07/20/2023 – Bruno Boghossian

Lula has not yet defined the addresses for the center on the Esplanada, but the PT is already preparing the neighborhood for the arrival of tenants. The party president disavowed protests against the replacement of ministers, and the government leader attributed complaints from the left to “voices from beyond who prefer defeat and isolation”.

The armor offered by Lula to the Minister of Health was celebrated by the PT and its allies. The president has indicated that he can protect other areas that he considers sensitive or strategic, but the speech of his political operators shows that it will be impossible to carry out a ministerial reform without the left footing the bill.

Reducing participation in top-level positions is the price for Lula to have more chances of governing with the platform she defended in the campaign.
